CermeTech specializes in process development and product management and operates under a partner manufacturing agreement with Current Chemicals, an ISO 9001:2015-certified specialty materials and chemical manufacturer located in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

While other SiC pre-ceramic polymers exist, polycarbosilane (PCS) produces a near stoichiometric 1:1 silicon-to-carbon chemistry, which results in a superior thermomechanical and oxidation resistance capability to maintain integrity in extreme environments.

Polycarbosilane-derived SiC is proving ideal for next gen electronic and specialty thermal components, where high thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, CTE compatibility, and extreme temperature stability are required.
